Dr. Ingrid Fulmer is an assistant professor of organizational behavior. Specializing in human resource management and organizational behavior, she has two broad research areas. In one, she studies the effects of individual differences and emotions on work-related behaviors such as negotiation, interpersonal influence, teamwork, mentoring, and "good citizen" behaviors. A second research focus is at the organizational level, where she examines the drivers and organizational consequences of human resource practices and systems. Within this area, she is particularly interested in compensation design, including executive pay design.

Her work has been published or is forthcoming in Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, International Journal of Conflict Management, and International Negotiation.  She is a member of the editorial review boards of Academy of Management Review, Personnel Psychology, and Negotiation and Conflict Management Research.

Before joining Georgia Tech, she was on faculty at Michigan State University.  Prior to pursuing her PhD, she worked as a CPA and consultant.
