Ivan Riobo, a native of Argentina, considered a lot of MBA programs but found that Georgia Tech's global brand set it apart. Even though he speaks five languages and has already worked in many countries, Riobo says he now has a better understanding of America's take on other cultures. "The professors are excellent," he adds.
"I now have a deeper understanding of the U.S. economy, 29 percent of the world's GDP, which is paramount for success in today's international business environment," says Riobo, new business development director of Quoin de Inversiones y Negocios S.A., who assists American companies seeking investment opportunities in Argentina and Europe. "Getting a good feel for U.S. business culture and different points of view on global issues has helped me a lot," Riobo says."
