Georgia Tech College of Management recently promoted two professors to the associate dean level.
Organizational behavior professor Charles Parsons and operations management professor Vinod Singhal had previously served as faculty directors (Parsons for the Undergraduate Program and Singhal for MBA Programs). They are now the associate deans for their respective areas.
College of Management Dean Steve Salbu says: “Congratulations to Chuck and Vinod for these titles that more accurately reflect their roles and contributions, and also many thanks to them both for the excellent work they do for us. It is greatly appreciated.”
Parsons, who joined the faculty of the College in 1985, became faculty director of the Undergraduate program in 2004.
Singhal, a Georgia Tech faculty member since 1989, was named faculty director of the MBA program in 2007. He also serves as area coordinator of the Operations Management faculty group.
In 2007, the College named information technology management professor Sri Narasimhan as senior associate dean and marketing professor Goutam Challagalla as associate dean of Executive Programs.
