Georgia Tech College of Management recently made the “Global 100” of MBA programs that are effectively incorporating sustainability and social issues into the classroom and research initiatives.
Conducted by the Aspen Institute Center for Business Education, the Beyond Grey Pinstripes “Global 100” is a biennial ranking of business schools. Georgia Tech placed 69th on the list and expects to rise much higher in future rankings.
"We're committed to incorporating the concept of environmentally friendly, sustainable business practices throughout the curriculum and expanding our focus on ethics, among many other initiatives," says College of Management Dean Steve Salbu.
The Aspen Institute Center for Business Education seeks to create business leaders for the 21st century who are equipped with the vision and knowledge necessary to integrate corporate profitability with social value. Its Beyond Great Pinstripes rankings continue to grow in influence among students, academics, and major corporations.
